Reboot your mind and body with iRest

iRest gives you the most powerful rest on the planet. It is a modern, research-based adaptation of the ancient practice of yoga nidra. During the practice you drop into a semi sleep-like state of deep rest and mental clarity. The practice is simple. It is based on a 10-step protocol, which includes setting an intention, a body scan, breathing, welcoming and visualisation.

"iRest is simple to learn and easy to practice. It can be practiced by anyone, regardless of physical ability or experience with meditation. Once learned, iRest becomes a set of tools for life" - iRest Institute

iRest gives you physical recovery and is a gentle way to process strong emotions. It has been able to help people with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), anxiety and depression, chronic pain, insomnia and grief. It helps you navigate life's experiences with greater resilience, peace and well-being.

Benefits of Yoga Nidra

Deep relaxation

Studies show that 45-minutes of yoga nidra gives you the physiological rest equivalent to 1-4 hours of normal sleep.

Inner wisdom

As you let go of thinking, you become more attuned to your intuition, creativity and problem solving.

Effortless

Yoga nidra is very easy to learn and practice. No effort is required to enjoy the full benefits.

Sleep better

Master the process of falling asleep and learn to stop controlling your sleep so that it can happen naturally.

Private iRest Sessions

"Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom" - Aristotle

A "Dyad" or co-meditation is the practice of iRest yoga nidra for individuals. During the session the practitioner "holds the space", creating a safe environment to guide you through the practice of welcoming everything just as it is without trying to control or change anything. As we witness and welcome changing experiences, we may find ourselves letting go and stepping back into a space of stillness, pure being and insight.

During the session we will practice welcoming everything just as it is or explore a particular emotion, thought or physical sensation that feel important to you at that moment.

By practicing iRest yoga nidra one-on-one you will get a deeper understanding of the 10 steps of iRest and develop your own personal practice for healing and personal growth. You will also receive recordings of my iRest yoga nidra to practice between sessions.

"I love the practice of iRest Yoga Nidra, particularly in its dyad form. The simplicity of the question “What is present now?” orients us to here and to now, rather than some imagined place. We explore not-knowing by meeting each moment without a clue, welcoming confusion, and allowing what is here to reveal itself" - Kathleen Knipp
